I stumbled upon eDX around the beginning of 2013. This was my first encounter with MOOC. And I have enjoyed learning from online platforms ever since. I spend at least 2 hours daily going through different courses on Coursera or eDX ever since.
When I started studying from eDX, I used to find the contents very engaging. Also, it needed a reasonable amount of hard work to complete the assignments. There were 4 instances when I could not complete the course as I found the assignments extremely difficult for me. However, as I engaged more, I found that the assignments were extremely easy to complete. This made me loose interest and I moved on to Coursera.
Nevertheless, I learnt a lot from eDX. I learnt about subjects that I never knew about or would have never cared about. Moreover, I never had the chance to attend universities like Harvard and MIT both because I did not have the intellect and also I could have never afforded it. However, through eDX, I got complete experience of how subjects are taught in such great Universities.
Now, after about 2 years being away from eDX, I find that they have remodelled the courses and I am reengaging with eDX. I hope I will enjoy their courses once again.
