One Student, Ms. Bhavyashri Vedula, from Vellore Institute of Technology connected with me on LinkedIn. She requested if I could give a Keynote Speech during their festival. I readily agreed.
After discussion with Bhavyashri, I decided that I would speak on Data Analytics and Data Sciences.
Bhavyashri informed me that the festival was scheduled for 27-Mar-2019 and 30-Mar-2019. I requested that my session be scheduled for 30-Mar-2019 as early in the morning as possible. This was so that I could drive back to Bangalore from Vellore after the session. After a few days, Bhavyashri informed me that my session was scheduled for 30-Mar-2019 between 10:30 AM and 11:30 AM.
Soon I got an official invitation from Vellore Institute of Technology.
After a few days, Bhavyashri sent me the advertisement for the session. She also informed that they were calling for registration through Facebook. The Facebook link was created at https://www.facebook.com/arcsieeecs/
On 29-Mar-2019, we (Deepshree and I) started from Bangalore at 7:25 AM to reach Vellore at 1:00 PM. We checked in at Fortune Park, Vellore. We spent the rest of the day at the Hotel.
I found out that the Vellore Institute of Technology was about 15 minutes from the Hotel. I asked for the directions from the Hotel. Then I contacted Bhavyashri to inform her that we were in Vellore. She told me that she would give me a call 30 minutes before my session and I could start from the Hotel then.
Next morning, on 30-Mar-2019, we finished our breakfast by 8:30 AM. Then I was waiting for the call from Bhavyashri. When Bhavyashri did not call till 9:45 AM, I gave her a call. She told me that they were having some issues with their management and thus the session was delayed. She would inform me when they were ready. She also told me that I was the first speaker for the day. So, we waited.
At around 10:30 AM, Bhavyashri called to let me know that my session would start at 11:00 AM and so I could start from the Hotel. She told me to come down to the VIT Main Gate and from there one of her fellow students would guide me to the venue.

So, we started for VIT in our Innova. I switched on the Google Map and followed along. We reached VIT Main Gate by 10:40 AM. Rishabh met me at the Main Gate. He sat in our car and guided us.
We were guided to the Silver Jubilee Hall.
On entering the session venue, we were welcomed by the Students. I was given an Identification Card. Then, we were escorted to sit in our seat.
The Students were trickling in gradually.
Soon, the Host of the Ceremony, started the session. There was a Boy and a Girl. They welcomed the participants and then introduced me. Then, I was invited to come on stage.
I went to the stage to find that my presentation was loaded on their computer. I had sent it to Bhavyashri. I request the host to kindly help me with the slides while I speak. He agreed. So, they handed a cordless microphone to me.
Deepshree recorded the session as I spoke. However, due to circumstances she could not record the entire session. However, she managed to record about 35 minutes of the speech. She must have missed about 30 minutes of the speech. I collated all the videos Deepshree had managed to record and edited them to form a movie.

My idea for the speech was to expose the Students to as many areas of Data Analytics and Data Sciences as possible within 1 hour. The Students could then explore the areas of their interest and pursue work or research in those areas.

After I had completed my session at around 12:00 Noon, I was invited to accept a Memento.
Then I was requested to sign on the Event Wall. I did so.
By this time, the next Speaker had arrived. So, we took leave. The Students came and dropped us at our car.
We drove back to Bangalore. We reached home at around 6:30 PM.
